And I was hoping you could figure this out Regardless I understand your viewpoint and I believe it would be best for me to save up for Komplete 11 and work my way up.I have an important issue that needs a solution quickly. Which probably isn't true but I honestly can't think of anything else I could ever want.

Basically, my main reason for wanting Komplete is because it would give me everything I could ever want plus more and would almost guarantee I would never have to buy another piece of software for music production. I like to produce heavy bass music such as dubstep which would be well satisfied by Komplete 11, I also love to make film music and cinematic music for fun which getting Ultimate would give me almost every tool I could ever need plus more. Everything else that comes in Komplete and Ultimate are bonuses but clearly if I bought all the stuff I wanted separately I would well exceed the price of ultimate. And I am very interested in Komplete Ultimate's entire cinematic and orchestral library. I am definitely interested in the software inside Komplete 11, a few are Absynth, Battery 4, Kontakt 5, and Massive (Which is the only thing I would want from Select but not worth $200 and the other things inside do not make up for it either). My further thoughts - unless you really need what Kontakt can give you and the libraries you want are only available to work through Kontakt - take a look at UVI Falcon. NI stuff only goes on sales like this like once a year. I really wouldn't try and piece-meal purchasing product starting with Kontakt 5 to get to an end thing of getting the complete Komplete. But going that route can get into big bucks. The fx in the Komplete suites are decent and if your funds are limited then by all means grab them but they don't begin to compete with other developers's product quality wise.

Absynth and FM8 haven't had an update in years. There are some good things there with Massive being one of the better things.
If you want the synths in the rest of Komplete then that's the way to go. What you are going to have to ask yourself is, beyond the amount of money spent, is are you going to use anything in the rest of Komplete 11? If you just want a sampler/sample player then Kontakt is your thing. Also I would like to consider in the future when NI does their sales on crossgrades/upgrades if this would still be worth it.

I'm not expecting to get the full value of Kontakt 5 deducted from the price but I don't want to spend $200 on it and then still have to pay $500 out of the $600 for Komplete 11 later, I'd rather just wait. What would the crossgrade price be so that when I want to get Komplete 11 later I know how much to save? Mainly I'm just wondering if getting Kontakt now while it's on sale is worth it so I have something I want until I can afford the entirety of Komplete 11. I am however interested in Kontakt 5 since it's 50% off right now.
I don't want to drop the $600 on Komplete 11, I'm not interested in anything in Komplete 11 Select but want to work my up to ultimate by slowly upgrading over the next year or two instead of all at once since I can't afford it. you are qualified for a crossgrade to Komplete or Komplete Ultimate. According to NI if you own an instrument such as Kontakt, Guitar Rig, Reaktor etc. I've been looking for information on this for a while and would like to know more.
